Camera movement stays on your device.
This policy explains what Exermagica processes when you play as a guest or choose to create an account.
Camera and movement data
Exermagica uses your camera to estimate body landmarks and translate movement into game controls. Camera frames and body landmarks are processed on your device. We do not record them, upload them, link them to your account, or use them for advertising.
Guest play
You can play without an account. Guest play does not create a server-side player profile, and completed runs are not synced between devices.
Account data
If you create an account, Clerk processes the identifiers and authentication information you provide, such as your email address, verification status, sessions, and security settings. Exermagica stores your Clerk user ID; optional display name, age band, goals, and play preferences; consent version; reminder schedule and notification subscription identifier; progression, Stars, streak, and run summaries; Spark Coin wallet and receipts; movement and cosmetic unlocks; companion and collection progress; Plus entitlement status; and Infinity Trial results. Run summaries contain game statistics only, such as finish time, outcome, distance, virtual speed, collected coins, gates, checkpoints, completion, and remaining hearts.
Public competition data
If you enter a ranked Infinity Trial, Exermagica publishes the leaderboard alias you choose, a pseudonymous player identifier, your verified game distance, rank, and competition week. Your email address and Clerk user ID are not displayed on the leaderboard. Practice runs are not published.
Reminders
If you enable reminders, Exermagica and OneSignal process your notification permission state, app subscription identifier, selected days and local time, time zone, quiet hours, and reminder tone to schedule and deliver notifications. After you grant consent, OneSignal also processes app-session activity, notification interactions, device and app metadata, and in-app purchase events for notification delivery, segmentation, and messaging analytics. Reminders are optional and can be disabled in the app or device settings.
Purchases
On iOS and Android, Apple or Google processes payment information and RevenueCat helps Exermagica validate and restore the resulting Plus entitlement. When reminder consent is enabled, OneSignal may also process in-app purchase events for messaging analytics. On the web, Stripe processes payment and billing details. Exermagica stores provider customer or transaction references, entitlement status, subscription period, and an event ledger, but does not receive complete card numbers or store-account credentials.
Why we use the data
- Authenticate you and restore your session securely.
- Save and show your game progress across supported sessions and devices.
- Deliver reminders you request, validate purchases, restore Plus access, and operate fair weekly leaderboards.
- Protect the service, diagnose availability problems, and respond to support requests.
Service providers and sharing
Clerk provides authentication and account management. OneSignal provides optional push delivery. RevenueCat validates native purchase entitlements; Apple and Google process native purchases; Stripe processes web purchases. Hosting providers process network requests and store the account-linked game data described above. We do not sell personal data, use third-party advertising SDKs, or share camera frames or body landmarks.
Retention and deletion
Account-linked game data is kept while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and saved Exermagica data from Account settings. After deletion, Exermagica retains only a one-way hash of the deleted Clerk user ID and the deletion time. This tombstone contains no email, settings, or run activity and is retained to prevent old credentials from recreating deleted data. The separate web deletion path is available below. Operational backups, if any, expire under the hosting provider’s normal backup schedule and are not restored as active accounts.

Security and choices
Authentication tokens are stored using platform-secure storage on iOS and Android. Protected API requests verify Clerk sessions and scope saved data to the signed-in user. Purchase and notification webhooks require provider authentication. You may deny camera or notification access, play as a guest, sign out, restore purchases, or delete your account.
Children and health information
Exermagica is not directed to children under 13. It is an entertainment game, not a medical device, diagnosis, treatment, or fitness-accuracy service. Do not submit medical information through account or support fields.
